Oct 17 : Dussehra in Kisan Swaraj Sammelan 2010

In the morning, one team of Kisan Swaraj Yatra members will interact with citizens of Mumbai at Prithvi Theatre before the screening of “Girija ke sapne”, another team will go to the organic farmers’ market and a third team will interact with media.
2.00 pm to 2.30 pm: Mumbaikars and Yatris gather outside Mani Bhawan, Gamdevi, tie rakhis/friendship bands as tokens of solidarity and support for each others’ concerns
2.30 pm to 3.00 pm: Public function at Mani Bhavan to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi
3.30 pm to 4.00 pm: Yatris and Mumbaikars will go on a silent walk from Mani Bhavan via August Kranti Maidan to Jagdish Ajmera Sabhagraha , near Grant Road Station, West
4.00 pm to 5.30 pm: Public function at Jagdish Ajmera Sabhagraha, Grant Road Railway Station, West, next to Platform No 1
