Agri Budgets in India

A Government’s seriousness towards and commitment  for improving farm livelihoods is obviously reflected in the investments it makes for the sector. ASHA engages with Government of India’s budget processes every year, both in terms of putting forward its demands before the budget, as well as analysing the Budget after it is announced by the Government. Organisations and individuals associated with ASHA also do this for various state governments, at a more decentralised level.
