Pro-Corporate Anti-Farmer Farm Laws

ASHA joined hands with hundreds of other farm organisations in successfully fighting against 3 anti-farmer laws brought in by the Government of India in the name of ‘agriculture reforms’ in 2020, during the Covid lockdown period. ASHA was part of AIKSCC and Samyukt Kisan Morcha in this struggle. Kavitha Kuruganti of ASHA was in fact the only woman representative in the farmers’ delegation that negotiated with the Government of India during the historic farmers’ struggle.
