OUR CONSTRAINTS & OUR ENTHUSIASM:
The response to the Sammelan announcement enthuses us, and renews our commitment to the cause of farmers and ecological farming in India. However, given some inherent limitations as a movement, there may be some hardships faced by some of you in terms of the logistical support we are able to extend. Any shortcomings from our side will be sought to be improved, if not now, for the next Sammelan.
Meanwhile, if you come prepared for participating in a huge family gathering, of many citizens who are working towards social equity, environmental sustainability and economic justice in our food and farming systems, if you are ready to celebrate and spread the alternatives in a collective effort, we believe that any hardships during the Sammelan can also be overcome collectively.
We are eagerly looking forward to seeing you all very soon.
Sincerely,
Organising Team
6th Kisan Swaraj Sammelan
